What Is Freeware?

Freeware is Free Software provided without charge or for an optional fee. The owner of the freeware may impose some restrictions on the use of the freeware. For example it might be for personal use only. You may not be able to make any modifications to the freeware, etc. The user is required to agree to these restrictions before being allowed to download the freeware.
